Solar & Renewable Energy
In 2004 we moved into renewable energy prompted by advances in technology and the environmental demand for a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions. Our first direction was towards Solar Thermal, being a natural progression from over 30 years experience in the mechanical and electrical industry, soon moving on to rainwater harvesting and heat pumps.
As members of the first government funded scheme ’Clear Skies’ we were accredited installers allowing our customers to source public funding to contribute to installation costs. We are now in the process of applying to become an MCS (microgeneration certification scheme) accredited installer so our customers can receive funding again. In addition ICR have been members of The Solar Trade Association since 2006.
